Lemon & Lavender Melt Aways

| gluten free + vegan |

One thing I like about these, is there is 1/4 cup of sugar in the entire batch. There's also protein in the hemp seeds, and some anti-inflammatory magic in the ginger.

The are nice and light, and a perfect little treat with some tea.

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup all-purpose gluten free flour 1/4 cup hemp seeds 1/2 cup coconut oil 1/2 teaspoon sea salt 1/4 cup powdered sugar

2 tsp lemon juice

1 tsp lemon zest (important)

1/4 tsp crushed dried lavender

1/4 tsp grated fresh ginger or ground ginger INSTRUCTIONS: 1.) Preheat oven to 325°F. 2.) Beat oil and powdered sugar together. 3.) Add remaining ingredients. 4.) Roll into balls, and place on cookie sheet lined in unbleached parchment paper.

5.) Bake for 15-17 minutes.

6.) This is hard, but let them sit for about 10 minutes after pulling out of oven.

7.) Sprinkle on a little extra powdered sugar after they cool. Don't forget to post on Instagram with #abundelicious. I want to see what your melt aways looks like!
